White “Button” Thermometer/Hygrometer

Need a sleek and simple way to read the temperature and humidity in your habitat? We’ve got the solution!

These small “button” thermometer/hygrometer combos are perfect for getting readings in small habitats, or for placing in multiple areas around a larger habitat to monitor all areas. The units are approx. 2″ wide at their widest point (the lip surrounding the front screen) and is slightly smaller in the back. There is a pen-tip sized button on the back to switch from Celsius to Fahrenheit.

These have a coin battery pre-installed and are ready for use when delivered!

We suggest two ways of using these thermo/hygro-meter combo units.

• Drill a small hole in your plastic habitat/tub or cut a small hole in your screen habitat to place the unit in the hole. Readings are taken from the back of the unit, so your screen will remain outside the habitat but readings will be accurate and your tubs will look sleek and clean! We suggest using a small dab of silicone on the edges for permanent instillation, or using a small amount of tape to hold them in place for this method if you’d like to be able to remove them completely.
• Use a small piece of velcro to attach the unit to the inside glass of your habitat. If you chose this method, we suggest only attaching the velcro to the sliding door which the battery can be accessed, to ensure accessibility to the battery tray.

We have an option to get a unit with a small piece of velcro for only $0.50 more!

Note: Please do not attempt to disassemble these units. They do not fit back together very well once taken apart. (Excluding the battery tray, that is easy to open and close).
