Description

Want to REALLY boost your pet’s feeding response with the power of BERRIES? Berry Blast! has a higher percentage of fruit to pollen ratio, making it’s fruit flavoring even stronger than our traditional mixes.

In this mix, you have: Blueberry, Raspberry, and Strawberry all mixed together into one blast of flavor!

All ingredients are completely natural, and human-taste tested (yes, I test them myself, it’s made with human-grade ingredients!) to ensure the flavor is present. Just as a reminder, this is meant to help boost your pet’s feeding response and/or be used as a treat. It should never be fed as a main food source!

Simple is key here. Here at HSCG, we want to offer the best quality ingredients with anything edible that we can.
When you open this bag, it is just as the label says. 100% Bee Pollen and Fruit Powders… That’s it.

What is bee pollen?
When bees wander out of the hive to visit flowers, they collect pollen on their legs and bodies. Traditionally, bees will store this inside the hive as a nutritious food source. Bee keepers install a comb of sorts at the front of the hive. When they return, they climb through it which knocks off some of the pollen into a collection bin below.

What are the benefits of adding bee pollen to your reptile’s diet?
Bee Pollen has many benefits! The most common being that it smells and tastes good, so it will increase the palatability of the food you are feeding. It’s great for picky eaters or those who just like to offer some variety.
It’s high in antioxidants and might give your reptile an immune boost, which is great when recovering from an illness or when transitioning into a new habitat.

There is a decent amount of key vitamins in Bee Pollen…
B1 (Thiamin; supports cell growth)
B2 (Riboflavin; supports energy production, fat usage, and cell growth)
B6 (Pyridoxine; supports immune function, brain health, and the breakdown of carbs, fats, and protein)
A (Retinol; supports eye health, bone growth/repair, regulates cell growth, and stimulates white blood cell production)
C (Ascorbic Acid; aids in controlling infection, healing/maintaining wounds, and supports various systems)
E (Super strong antioxidant)

What about storing my bee pollen? How long does it last?
Raw bee pollen does have an expiration date! If kept at room temperature it will only be fresh and keep all it’s nutritional benefits about 6 months.
If kept in the fridge, it will last up to a year. If kept frozen, it will last many years!
Due to this, we highly suggest keeping your bee pollen (especially the flavored ones!) refrigerated at all times. If you order a larger sized bag, please store a small amount in a container in the fridge and keep the rest frozen to get the most life out of your pollen.

What about the flavoring?
The flavoring is literally just dried fruit powder!
