This high-quality mister is made with comfort in mind, while also being heavy-duty! The ergonomic handle has a soft rubber top and divots for your fingers when holding. The mist button is elevated and easy to press. The handle to add pressure to the mister is easy to hold and also soft to the touch. Even the little nob that you lift to relieve pressure is comfy to use!
The nozzles are completely adjustable from a solid stream down to a very fine mist.
The pressure release nob will automatically vent if pressure built-up is too high (although for safety we suggest not going that far!).
The plastic used in these misters is food-grade durable PP plastic. Polypropylene Plastic is durable, fracture-resistant and is great for high-pressure environments. If using it for anything other than water, it is suggested to empty out and rinse your container before long-term storage to prevent damage to the plastic or seals. It may also become brittle in freezing temperatures, so keep it out of the freezer or winter weather!
Having an actual piece of plastic as a foot to the bottom of the mister is really helpful in preventing from it falling over or getting knocked around. It also helps prevent the bottom of the mister bottle from getting pierced or damaged, which can render your mister unusable!
What is the most exciting about this is the extender rod that comes with the mister. This rod allows you to mist from further away (if you have a particularly spicy gecko) or allows you to get into small areas (like cork rounds or watering the base of plants without getting the leaves wet). It’s made of metal which means it will have a long life and be able to withstand the pressure of the mister.
The container holds approx. 0.5 gallons of water (or whatever liquid you chose to use!). We suggest leaving 1″ of air towards the top before adding pressure to your container to prevent water from squirting out the vent if it is over-pressurized or you need to vent it for any reason.
